The Story
Roon’s Rebels is an award-winning Celtic folk rock band with a focus on musicianship and song-craft that transports listeners from the hills of their hometown San Francisco to the rugged cliffs of their music’s heritage. Blending traditional Celtic folk with world beats and modern energy, their sound is ethereal and dreamy and will get the dance floor moving. Differentiated from folk bands that exist in other genres such as bluegrass and country, Roon’s Rebels leans in to the Celtic music that was the genesis of those styles. Themes of mysticism and intimacy with nature are incorporated to bring us back in touch with ourselves, and each other.
